
Michael Cummings
Executive Chef
Chef Michael is a lifelong dedicated culinarian.
Born and raised in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Michael started his career at the Gowanie Golf Club in Harrison Township.
After a decade of service in the industry, he began a formal education at Macomb Community College in Clinton Township.
Once graduated, Michael completed an internship in Gross Pointe at the Country Club of Detroit where he worked side by side with some of the industries most credentialed chefs. Shortly after, he would be found leading and developing a team for the local restaurant “J. Baldwins” in Macomb County. Other notable terms of service Michael has fulfilled would be his position as Executive Chef for Copeley Hill in Dryden, MI., and a Dining Service Director for Compass Group Unidine.
Michael carries a unique philosophy of life that promotes food and artistry with utmost importance. He believes mealtime is a sacred bonding time that we share with each other through experience and craft.
